Rubber duckies make bath time so much fun… unless they’re made of plastic containing phthalates that have been linked to cancer, hormone disruption and other health concerns. Decidedly, not so fun. Rich Frog toy company, based out of Burlington, Vermont, carries a collection of cute rubber duckies made from natural rubber (a safe and renewable resource that will biodegrade after its end of life) and hand-painted with non-toxic paints.

Hug It Out

Sometimes, a hug is all we need. But what’s even better is hugging it out in an organic cotton tee, designed by independent artists. Few will argue that hospital maternity gowns top the list of fashion’s worst nightmares – is there anything less stylish than a boxy cloth sack revealing your entire backside? Launch of The Green Products Innovation Institute!

Yesterday marked the dawning of a new era. At Google’s Mountain View campus business leaders, environmental activists and non-profits gathered for the eagerly awaited launch of the Green Products Innovation Institute, a non-profit organization based in California.
