Moldable fun that’s safe enough for little ones to eat? Play dough developed by a preschool teacher wouldn’t be made any other way!
After getting frustrated with the countless toy recalls and toxin scares, Miss Brittany took matters into her own hands – literally mixing and kneading to natural perfection. Now, her Organic Preschool Fun Dough is available to little ones throughout the country with ingredients listed right on the box: filtered water, organic flour, mediterranean sea salt, organic canola oil, kosher cream of tartar, organic vitamin C, and non-toxic USA-made liquid watercolor.
As featured in our eco holiday gift guide, the play dough gift set ($29.95) comes complete with an organic toddler apron, USA wood rolling pin and wood shape stampers, and three 7 oz. containers of Miss Brittany’s Organic Preschool Fun Dough (purple power, going green green, and blueberry bounce). The dough containers are 100% compostable (made from corn) and the box carton is made from recycled materials, printed with soy inks – even the ribbon handle is made from 100% recycled plastic water bottles!
One note: The dough has an approximate 3-month shelf life and it’s recommended you refrigerate just prior to use for a firm consistency (we found this really helps!).
