“Eat, Drink and Be Green”

Iron Horse Vineyards is definitely the place to be on the Sunday before Earth Day (April 22nd). This acclaimed fundraiser is chock-full of eco-goodness (the theme is, after all, “Solutions”): A Green Market showcasing exciting green products like a bamboo bicycle and the Tesla Roadster; a live, solar-powered reggae band; a raffle for a free year of energy; a speech by the Chairman of National Geographic, Gil Grosvenor; a locavore’s gastronomical dream created by Iron Horse chef Christopher Greenwald; an aroma sensory table of the region’s wines; and that’s just for starters! This Earth Day extravaganza provides an opportunity to connect with people that have common goals - saving the planet and sampling delicious vino (fun, even if you are only interested in one of the aforementioned).
