The Down-low (VOC) on Paint

Low VOC (volatile organic compounds) paint is now available in as many colors and almost as many sheens and textures as conventional wall finishes.
The demand has driven many traditional manufacturers like Benjamin Moore to create their own low-VOC lines to compete with independents. Auro, Yolo and Anna Sova all have natural, inviting, highly distinctive scents. The later smells like vanilla pastries. Green Fusion and Global Green's resource center are great places to get the broad strokes so you can find the best coverage for your project.
