Borrowed-from-the-boys boxers and a worn concert tee may provide adequate loungewear, but the ice cream and sappy romantic movie-ready ensemble doesn’t exactly scream “sexy.” What does are the bamboo basics by Bela Bum Bum—pronounced “Bella-Boom-Boom” and meaning “beautiful bottom” in Portuguese. The line’s sexy, body-skimming cuts deliver the “boom-boom-pow” that all lingerie should, but, more than anything else, the pieces are built for comfort. The signature Chemise ($75) is a sweet little sleepwear option, while a pair of girlshorts ($30) are just the sort of thing you might privately prance around in on a Sunday morning. We’re also happy to see a few maternity options in the collection, because hot mamas-to-be shouldn’t be excluded from the flirtatious fun.
