		<description>Yes, the lids are plastic. The idea is that you wouldn&#039;t put the lids in the microwave while warming food, and that you can wash those by hand as well. The stainless steel tiffin boxes from To-Ware are another favorite, though they wouldn&#039;t work for microwaving :)</description>

		<description>We use these in our home at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage and love them so much we sell them in our store (Milkweed Mercantile). I know that sounds cheesy, like &quot;the hair club for men&quot; - but these make food storage and cleanup so much easier!</description>
