Its name bespeaks a sense of play and whimsy, and its interior lives up to the titular promise. ZenBunni is a cozy gallery space nestled among boutiques on Santa Monica’s Main Street, only steps away from Urth Caffe’s organic coffees and decadent dessert selection.
Imagine walking into a chic Elk’s Lodge of sorts—found objects adorn the walls in addition to evocative photographs courtesy of co-owner Bunni. Her husband and business partner, Zen, shares not only her passion for artistic pursuits, but chocolate-making, as well. The duo produces a selection of raw, organic, dairy-free, free trade chocolates in a variety of creative flavors, including Peppermint and Orange-spiked bars. ecofabuous tested and approved, their rich, smooth taste satiates the sweets fiend in us all. We suggest wandering the recycled wood interior to shop for unique artwork and vintage jewelry trinkets; there’s a bountiful selection of both.

Zen and Bunnie bring magic back to the surface with everything they offer. I am one of their raw chocolate regulars…they are starting a monthly chocolate club now!
