The newest thing in organic farming is a shoot-off of the farm-to-table movement… we’re calling it the farm-to-face movement, and it’s being pioneered by the lovely Tata Harper. After all, 60% of what you put on your skin gets absorbed into your blood stream, so it’s equally important that we nourish our epidermis with the same quality ingredients that we use to feed our bodies. Tata’s skincare line is the result of a five year global quest to create an exquisitely natural skincare line that provides powerful results without any of the harmful side effects. (more…)

Want in on a dirty little secret? Studies show that many antibacterial soaps contain pesticides (like triclosan) that are used to kill bacteria. Research shows that all you need to do is get rid of the germs on your hands, not kill them – so there’s no reason to be using such toxic chemicals so close to your skin (not to mention the fact that antibacterial soaps aren’t any more effective at killing the viruses that actually make you sick!). What’s the solution? Good old soap and water. (more…)
